About
I am an associate professor of history, with research interests in early modern Spanish culture, politics, and society. Current projects include a book on the cultural and social significance of food in sixteenth and seventeenth-century Spain and an edited volume on women in Atlantic port cities. I teach courses on the Renaissance, Spain, and popular culture in early modern Europe.
